Penn Village Adult Day Care is a licensed adult day center in Germantown, Philadelphia. Adults come to us on weekdays for structured activity, hot meals, licensed nursing oversight and the company of other people, then go home to their own beds at night — so families can keep a loved one at home rather than move them into residential care. Our center is at 200-220 W. Chelten Avenue in Germantown — typically around fifteen minutes from Logan and Olney, straight across on Chelten Avenue or down through Wister.
Most families never make that drive. Our door-to-door transportation covers this entire area with wheelchair-accessible vehicles, and the same driver most days — which matters more than people expect, particularly for participants with dementia.
Tours are welcome, and mid-morning is the honest time to come: the center is busiest, and you can see what an ordinary day actually looks like rather than an empty room.

Who Attends Our Program

Not everyone is a fit, and we will say so. If someone needs continuous skilled nursing, cannot travel comfortably, or is in the advanced stages of dementia, a day program is usually not the right answer — and we would rather tell you that on the phone than enroll someone who will not do well.
